Anderson Wise is pleased to present this excellent opportunity to join a leading global Real Estate Private Equity Investment advisor, currently looking for an Accounting Associate based in Luxembourg.

Under the supervision of Consolidation & Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include all accounting aspects of the business such as the bookkeeping, and reporting for multiple Luxembourg SPVs both using systems (Yardi) and Excel.

The position offers the opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual to be a significant contributing member of the accounting team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (LUX GAAP compliant) using Yardi for multiple Luxembourg SPVs
  • Account Payable weekly payment process
  • Preparation of monthly accounting entries and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain general ledger chart of accounts in compliance with local LUX GAAP requirements
  • Responsible for month-end closing process
  • Prepare, review, and manage inter-company account reconciliations
  • Internal reporting to Luxembourg and to the London headquarters
  • Responsible for preparation and filing of annual financial statements on eCDF
  • Support the audit process including routine audit queries
  • Ad hoc accounting projects when requested, Fund flows, NAV, GAAP mapping, etc.

Your profile:

  • University degree or equivalent, with ideally a specialization in accounting
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience as a corporate accountant in a fiduciary, services provider, or a Private Equity/Real Estate fund structure based in Luxembourg
  • Experience with accounting general ledger systems – previous experience of Yardi would be beneficial
  • Fluent in English with good knowledge of French.  Any other language would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a hands-on approach and proactive attitude
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated to work both independently and cross functional teams
