Corporate Legal Manager

 

Our client is a global player who is currently looking for a Corporate Manager for their Real Estate department who wants to join a driven and passionate team.

 

As a Corporate Legal  Manager you will play a key role in development of business and maintaining the company’s strong reputation and global standing. You will have an ownership of an assigned portfolio of global clients in the Real Estate area. Within the role you will have exposure to financial markets and ability to develop your client’s account management to build a trustful, long-term relationship.

 

Your Responsibilities 

  • As first point of contact for clients, you will manage the timely co-ordination and end-to-end life cycle of all client requests, transactions, statutory requirements and business cycles
  • You ensure all clients are in good standing across all aspects of legal, corporate & financial administration/documentation as well as regulatory compliance and governance at every stage of the transaction life-cycle from incorporations through to liquidations.
  • Assist clients/ team members through complex legal issues by guiding them on legal and regulatory Luxembourg environment as well as referring to legal advisors where appropriate
  • Design, implement and maintain effective internal policies and procedures to manage legal and regulatory requirements on the assigned client portfolio
  • Participate in regular service calls with internal service providers and ensure proper documentation and follow-up on issues identified
  • Take-up directorships mandates in client companies if requested.
  • Coach and develop members of your team, sharing your expertise and knowledge with colleagues and team members.

 

Your profile

  • University degree in Law, Economics and / or Tax degree
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of corporate law as well as the legal and administrative requirements and Luxembourg industry regulations
  • A minimum of 7 years proven expertise in corporate services, international law, tax or trust environment.
  • Proactive with a client services orientated attitude
  • Leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to solve problems and demonstrate excellent communication skills in a multicultural environment
  • A preliminary experience of Luxembourg market, regulations (legal, tax, financial accounting & reporting) and market developments is an advantage.
  • English is required, French is a plus.
