For one of our clients, an international Management Company UCIT/AIF, we are assisting the recruitment of an MLRO / RC to join the management team in Luxembourg.

 

Our client offers a dynamic working environment within a professional compliance team based in Luxembourg.

You will have the opportunity to join a challenging compliance and large cross distribution network based in different geographic locations.

 

This position suites a person that has at least 10 years’ + experience working in a Compliance AML/CFT position in the Investment Fund industry in Luxembourg.

Prior experience working as a MLRO and Conducting officer is a must.

 Your Responsibilities

 

As the MLRO you will report directly to the Managing Director with a dotted line to the Global AML Officer.

You will be monitoring all regulatory changes and assist in ensuring compliance of the Management Company and its funds at all times. Moreover, you will:

 

  • Act as an advisor in all compliance matter for the employees and senior management
  • Develop and implement the Management Company AML/CTF due diligence and ongoing oversight programme for external transfer agents and distributors
  • Represent the company in industry forums and associations
  • Supervise the compliance rules and internal policies and procedures
  • Guide and manage the AML compliance team

 

  Your profile

 

  • You have a Degree in Law or Business/Economics
  • You have at least 10 years’ + experience working in a Compliance AML/CFT position in the Investment Fund industry in Luxembourg. Prior experience working as a MLRO and Conducting officer is a must.
  • You have solid experience of the AML regulations on investment fund, both UCITS and AIF
  • Detailed knowledge of the local Luxembourg regulatory and legal environment and a good understanding of EU and other international regulatory regimes.
  • You are fluent in English both written and spoken. French would be considered a benefit.
  • You are willing to travel abroad
  • You are a natural team leader/ player and have the ability to communicate at all levels in /outside the organisation
