Legal Assistant inhouse position, Private Equity

This alternative asset management firm is one of the leading players in its field, reputed for delivering high investment returns and added value to investors. The Luxembourg office is medium-size but growing and offer an international and dynamic environment with great work atmosphere.

Our client is looking to add a Legal Assistant to the team.

Reporting directly to the Senior Legal Officer, you are responsible for corporate legal administrative support, covering among others the following tasks:

Your Responsibilities

  • General company secretarial tasks
  • Assistance with regard to board and shareholder meetings
  • Opening of bank accounts and management of all matters related to banking relationships
  • Assistance with incorporation/liquidation of entities etc.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders including law firms, auditors, tax advisors and other service providers
  • Fillings with the Luxembourg authorities
  • Managing documentation including scanning, printing, archiving, and maintaining databases
  • General coordination and corporate housekeeping

Your Profile

  • Previous relevant work experience, ideally in a private equity environment and/or in Luxembourg
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, French would be an asset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and a sense of structure and eye for detail
  • Proficient Microsoft Office user
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Team spirit, resourcefulness, adaptability
