Legal and Corporate Officer
Our client is an Anglo-Saxon investment boutique looking to add a Legal and Corporate Officer to their team in Luxembourg.
You will report to the Company Secretary and assist in all aspects of corporate secretarial matters.
The company is ideally located close to the airport of Luxembourg, easily accessible by public transports (a parking place is also available). It offers a good work-life balance, flexible hours, and a great work atmosphere!
Your responsibilities:
- Organizing and managing board meetings;
- Drafting minutes, board documents and other miscellaneous documents for the entities
- Assisting the Legal team with standard AML / KYC requests (including FATCA/CRS);
- Maintaining the database up to date for bank accounts and signatories;
- Supporting the Corporate Secretary in ensuring that clients are onboarded successfully and efficiently;
- Onboarding new companies and opening bank accounts;
- Assisting the Corporate Secretary with signing and execution of miscellaneous documents;
- Supporting the Legal team with any as-needed ad hoc tasks;
- Proactively contribute to the Team success by seeking to improve working processes;
- Administrative responsibilities: assisting with day-to-day office management, including office supply orders, device orders and inventory, office insurance, scanning and filing documents, courier management, etc.
Your profile:
- Experience in corporate administration in a similar work environment in Luxembourg (minimum 2 years) as a Corporate Officer, Legal Officer, Legal Assistant or Paralegal within a services provider or inhouse firm.
- Previous experience dealing with RCS extracts, board documents, signatories is essential
- Fluency in English. German or French language would be a strong asset
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Organized
- Flexible
- Attention to detail.
- Willingness to assist on all matters, hands-on
- Eagerness to learn
