As part of their continued focus on compliance and client integrity, our Client is seeking a they are seeking a Compliance Officer (AML/Monitoring) to support the Chief Compliance Officer and ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal standards.

Your areas of responsibility:
- Perform name screening controls of client databases and payments (SWIFT messages), processing relevant alerts
- Monitor and review client transactions (KYT), including pre-approvals, blocked accounts, and high-risk jurisdictions
- Process alerts from internal fraud prevention tools
- Support the CCO, Deputy CCO, and Compliance team with daily tasks, projects, and audit measure follow-up
- Assist in performing controls as part of the Compliance Monitoring Plan and ad hoc reviews
- Contribute to MiFID-related controls, including prevention of conflicts of interest and inducement monitoring
- Advise client relationship managers on compliance matters
- Prepare and file SARs/STRs with the Luxembourg FIU and respond to regulatory or auditor requests
- Investigate and escalate identified compliance issues to mitigate risks
- Participate in regulatory assessments, risk and gap analyses, and Group compliance projects
- Contribute to training programmes to maintain staff awareness of compliance obligations
Your profile:
- 5–10 years of banking experience, preferably in Compliance, Audit, or Legal functions
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, finance, accounting, or business management
- Strong expertise in AML-CFT/KYC, MiFID, and Fraud prevention
- Familiar with account opening, corporate documentation, and business structures
- Excellent command of French and English; other languages (e.g. Spanish, Dutch) are an asset
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Autonomous yet a team player with strong cooperation skills
- Clear, concise communicator with strong analytical and summarisation abilities
- Reliable, discreet, and solution-oriented with a hands-on approach
